NAC Online Programs

When I talk with colleagues about the value News Advertising Coalition (NAC) brings to their work, three key things come up time and again...

First, the annual conference (make sure to sign up!).
Second, our great listserv that is in constant use for sharing ideas, getting feedback, and sharing news. (email something to the group at NAC@ourlistserver.com)
Third, the on-going NAC Online programs.

We aim to produce five or six online programs each year. The topics are chosen based on member feedback – which allows us to hone in on the questions NAC members are looking to solve in their market!

Our last program in October focused on Creative Engagement. How does creative lead to a stronger advertiser relationship… and increased revenue? Member markets with internal creative agencies shared case studies and RAM showed how creative effectiveness can be measured and improved.

2018 has been full of engaging programs, take a look back:

Winning Automotive Advertising – Member markets – Star Tribune & Virginian-Pilot showed how they're approaching the changing auto industry. And newsmedia partner WeHaa explained their tools for auto category success.

Maximizing Your Political Advertising – It's a big year for politics! Belo Media Group shared their winning tactics for getting the most out of campaigns. And newsmedia partner Spot-On walked us through their program for political agencies.

Thanksgiving Best Practices – The biggest day of the year for most newsmedia companies! Four member markets – Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Miami Herald, New Orleans Advocate, and Chicago Tribune - shared their new ideas and strategies to get the most out of Thanksgiving.

New Revenue Ideas – A personal favorite! Member markets – Minnesota Star Tribune, Atlanta Journal Constitution, and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - shared innovative ideas that led to revenue success that other markets could learn from and replicate.
